I wonder what the odds are going to be for the AA division?????
the odds are looking really clear.. its funny how a team like the NY skyline is so high up there with the odd of vegas i mean this team forfeited there last month of baseball how can we base odds on that performance. Granted with the 8 players they did play with they gave every team they battled a run for there money and if those two (j. baez, and M. Tejada) players that made the allstar team come back this year they are in good shape, but why would this team be ranked so high solely on the shoulders of two players i mean for all we know they might not even have a full staff and those two players the way this off-season has gone might be on another team or league and they aint play another team in exhibition. the way i see it New roster New coach but nothing to prove they aint the same team from last year. These odds are biased my money is on the NY Storm.

skyline i meant no disrespect im basically talking about the league they cant put us under your team, in the odds if you guys really aint face anyone yet in exhibitions and based on last years performance didnt do anything. Yes you guys came out 2 years on a great run, but that was 2 years ago we are talking about now. So far like the mets you guys have to redeem yourself from last year and perform. OTher then those two players you guys had last few years no one really stands out, but i keep checking your roster lets see what u got but we are ready.
ps. to the xmen comment grow up, a storm is base on weather conditions and the horrible effects left behind, prey this year the storm doesnt hit your parks cuz even those 2 players wont stop us ..

Regarding the Post of us being at the top regarding the ODDS in Vegas. Unfortunately, last season was bad for us and thank you for noticing that we did battle with just 8 and if we had 9 the games would have been a "W". My opinion on us being at the top is because the fact we reached Playoffs 2yrs consecutive says alot about our Team. I understand we forfeited the last month, Honestly most of our core players were missing and we still battled with Bench Players (No Disrespect to those guys) I think we deserve to be at the top because this year we do have something to PROVE and are coming to gain our spot in the rankings and quite frankly our roster is better now than it was 2 years ago when we made playoffs and a new coach that has 0 tolerance I just see positive things happening. NY Storm is a team we will love to play against. See you in the season and Please no Intentional walks for no one lets let the offense and defense talk. "NY SKYLINE 2008"

I think for the most part that's pretty good odds. My only comment is why is the blue sox ranked so low. In less they lost players they have to be one of the favorites. They were one of the strongest teams last year.

Wow..... all I know is if storm had half the team we (skyline) had last year with 8 players they might be ranked a little higher but I guess they don't match up to half of our old team storm sound more like a drizzle see ya in the season
I think this should have been posted after more scrimmage games have been played. This list came out too soon and will probably be quite inaccurate.
DO NOT sleep on the Beers! Im not saying they are going to win the title but we scrimmaged them and they are GREATLY improved!

this is in response to the rebels blog...im a padres player...the catcher in fact...and whoever it is on the rebels talking trash already....when did you run over the padres....didnt you guys score your runs on walks and errors!????did anyone on your team even get a couple of hits ..if any in both games?you did?...in fact there were several times when we shut you down 1-2-3!!!so if you want to talk trash after a scrimmage game i can see how your seasons gonna go...you have no pitching..and the best pitcher you have i roped twice, and your ryan seacrest catcher isnt big enough to get on this ride...your starting pitcher in game one was a sour loser who refused to acknowledge the other team at the end of the games...( ill remeber that one)and you infield is a joke(little leaguers) if ive ever seen one...and further your team and your guests outside the f3nce did nothing but talk trash and desperately try to distract my team....so if you plan on winning the garbage division you re well on your way to being the champs of trash!!!!!and again this is the catcher for the padres...not going to hide behind an anonymous title........so when you come into homeplate ...you better come hard rebels.....cause im gonna knock you all on your asses!!!!!!!!!!
to the comment by the mad catcher from the padres, we understand ur tight about his comments but dont disrespect our division calling it garbage because the league chose to start creating a double a league this year, cuz for all we know based on a scrimmage ya couldnt beat a single a team. but fam i aint about bickering or fighting we THe ny skyline do the talking on the field. but we held our own since the league has open and battled with the best of them through the season with full staff or just 8 players, its just sad that last year we forfeited alot of games and the league punished us for it and placed us in Single A division. Now im not gonna knock the double a or the single but lets let the regular season do the talking not all this trash here on a blog. catcher from the padres i wish u a great year and your team the same, as for us we gonna make the best out of our divison and see where we end up at next year. first of all no-one got swept...we tied both games!!!!!..the demotion has no bearing on how we played on that day.....tied both games against all the odds...and where do you see me talking trash....because i support my teamates....because i want guys to come hard at the plate.....all im doing is defending my team against all you out there who are judging us and leaving us for dead on the side of the road......and before openning your ANONYMOUS ignorant mouth about karma...you migh realize the karma coming our way is nothing but positive and good due to the hating and disrespect from the other teams ....who see fit to diss.... and a manager and some players who abandoned us 3 days before the openner.......do you even know us or what we went through or are you just making ignorant unsigned remarks..........sign your blogs and let it be known who says what!!!!!!!!

Ok ok the skyline has been on a good run, the only reason they beat us was because we were missing all of our real players. We showed up to the field with 10 players strong and managed to score runs on this great pitching staff the league claims they have we held there to biggest hitters(m.tejada and j.baez) to what a total of maybe 4 hits in 13 at bats. Peter gamons said watch out for melvin tejada and we did he went 2-4 in game 1 and 0-3 in game 2 trust us we knew how to handle him and now this week he claiming h.cartagena to watch out for please,he was even scared to throw against us.bloggers this team is overated and next month we will expose them in there home same team and same 2 players nothing changed but the competion. And we are here to stay next month we coming with a full roster.....cheaters haaa we will see
I have to agree some teams have soft schedules and they're gonna pad they're wins - loss total with that. To be honest the Bronx and Manhattan division are by far the toughest - it's going to be interesting because everyone (with the exception of the padres)is dangerous. Dont take my word for it - look for yourself; thusfar most teams are splitting series within the division and against eachother - when these teams play the brooklyn queens teams - I'm sorry to say but they're being exposed.
Skyline's pitcher laying low and coming back from the DL to prove that he was not hiding from the broke down court officers. this week put alot to rest. H. Cartagena only giving up 4 hits 5 k's on 2 runs... a skyline victory. If the skyline team does not have a pitching staff then i dont know what to call it. This team is for real no doubt about it. M. tejada and J. Baez are no doubt leaders on the team but they understand the meaning of TEAM... Good luck to the court officers for the remainder of the season. Skyline keep doing what u do.
How ODD... Sum Pitchers stats aren't completely filled but yet they pitched a complete game to a score of 4 to 3 and no Batter Faced were entered and no Hits but yet they mark 3 Runs as being scored how many were earned.. Looks Iffy maybe doesnt want his ERA to bulge upp.. Take a look at it for urself ElmJack...
the stats were not put in until the next day . the box score was put up first to make sure the standings were up to date right after the game. If you were so skeptical about it, you would have noticed the stats were put in the very next day. But don't worry the stats are very accurate. You should not worry so much about how many batters our pitchers faced. Just look at the standings.
All this talk about what division is better. What I ask is Why the Bronx/Manhattan Division has teams in Triple Digits with RA and Runs Scored and still at the top of their Division. I want to know what is slacking is it pitching or hitting.. There are only 2 teams in that division with Double digit RA but 1 of them is not to far to enter the Triple Digit Club. Seems like they are really beating up on eachother or they just all evenly lack the same thing with no domination in either department. The only team that stands up in The Express. Also, I think if the Bats start to wake up with the NY Knights after the All Star Break cause the RA compared to everyone in their Division its not bad its just their Hitting took some Vicatins.. Regarding the Brooklyn/Queens you can tell which teams are dominating and those who are just barely getting by with Wins. The Standings being close in Bronx/Manhattan Division can be GOOD and also can be BAD. Good = They can be evenly matched. Bad = they can evenly not compete but with just themselves. Also Last year I use to like when the Power Rankings came out with a lil story attached to the teams what happen this year nothin like that.. I think the Newscasters are getting Lazy.

Prospects Catcher talking about his 2 Best Pitchers being the ones that have brought them to where they are now I say it differently because its been luck. Every contending team they have faced have barely won. Plus there walk to strikeout ratios are bad. On top of that yes we wouldnt trade them but PUDGE #7 should be the first one traded from that team with his 57AB and 9Hits .118 BA thats pathetic. You have a guy that has went to 7 Games and has almost the same amount of hits PUDGE has lol wow...

Also like ppl have said before its rare how Earned Runs become Unearned so easily by putting up a Error. Stop padding the stats soon your scorebook going to look like a Matress..
